Course Description

Android apps must save data consistently. The data saved can include user settings, file-based information, and structured data. A database system is required to save large amounts of structured data over time. This course, Android Realm Fundamentals will introduce you to Realm, an object-oriented, database system that stores data in an objects tree and executes queries at an extremely high speed. You can only access the database from within your application. You'll first learn about Realm and how you can integrate it into your project. Next, you will learn how to write queries and perform sync/async transactions. Finally, you will explore how to put Realm to use to create a professional app. You'll also learn about miscellaneous concepts like Realm notifications and custom Realm configurations. This course will give you a solid foundation and an understanding of Android's Realm Database System.
