The service uses an advanced internal architecture that learns your access patterns and moves around your data in order to avoid hot-spotting. Learn how to best design your schema to allow fast reads, write speeds. You will also learn how Bigtable data can be accessed using both the client libraries and command line. Next, you will learn how Bigtable clusters and nodes work, as well as how Bigtable works together with Colossus Google's proprietary storage system. You'll also learn how to create and manage tables and practice exporting and importing data with sequence files.

In this course, Architecting Big Data Solutions Using Google Bigtable, you’ll learn both the conceptual and practical aspects of working with Bigtable

Later, you'll create and manage tables while practice exporting and importing data using sequence files

Learns access patterns and moves around your data to mitigate the issue of hot-spotting

Next, you’ll access Bigtable using both the HBase shell as well as cbt, Google’s command line utility

You’ll also discover how Bigtable clusters, nodes, and instances work and how Bigtable works with Colossus - Google’s proprietary storage system behind the scenes
