Course Description

Hello everyone!

This class will teach you some of the techniques I use when working with DXF files from real clients.

All this and the brand new Blender 2.28!

This type of Archviz project requires you to be fast and accurate (especially if freelancing) when it comes to wall measurements. This method is easy to use.

I will provide the DXF file so that you can follow along with me during class.

In just 4 steps, you'll learn how to convert DXF to 3D .

  1. Import DXF layouts and check scale
  2. Clean up the mesh
  3. Ceiling, floor, and walls can be extruded
  4. Close door gaps and walk through

*Beginner-Intermediate level

This is the first part in a series I'm creating where you'll learn how to create realistic interior renders. Have a look at how to place doors, windows, details and lighting (EEVEE).
