Course Description

This class will teach you how to create a floating astronaut scene using Cinema 4D. It will also show you how to render it with Redshift Render. Redshift Render is a GPU-based rendering engine for Cinema 4D. This class will cover the entire process of creating this scene, as well as general techniques and tips for working with Redshift Render and Cinema 4D.
Important Additional Class Notes & Files - Google Drive Link

This class will cover the following topics and more, which you can use to create animations and motion graphics projects:

  • Create an ocean simulation with a free plugin for Cinema 4D called "Hot4D".
  • Adobe MIXAMO is a free tool that allows you to rig and animate characters.
  • Camera animation in Cinema 4D
  • How to install 3rd-party plugins in Cinema 4D and integrate them into your user interface
  • Create a scene and animation that loops seamlessly
  • Cinema 4D Redshift Render creates cinematic lighting styles.
  • Redshift Render: Atmospheric effects and fog effects
  • Redshift and Cinema 4D have different output/render settings. Optimizing for speed and quality
  • Importing the rendered sequences into Adobe After Effects
  • Adobe After Effects can be used to add color adjustments and glow effects.
  • The best settings for final export in Adobe Premiere Pro to Instagram and YouTube

Although the class is more appropriate for advanced users, it is also detailed enough to be easy for beginners. If you are having trouble understanding any portion of the class, please ask me a question under the class. I will respond as soon as possible. It will help you understand the question better if you share a screen.

If you find the class too difficult, don't worry! I also have a complete masterclass for Cinema 4D that is aimed at complete beginners or people who have never used the software. You could start there, then return to this class later!

Thank you for watching! Enjoy!
