Course Description

This course will show you how to build a 1952 Nash-Healey Roadster. This car is a rare gem. Only 500 were ever produced. We'll create it using Blender 3.0 from the first polygon to final rendered animation. This course is for anyone who has ever wanted to create detailed, realistic models of complex objects. You will not only learn modeling tools and techniques but also how to organize reference images and manage large projects in Blender.

We will start with the car's body, and then create the underlying shape. Blender's Shrink Wrap modifier will be used to mold each panel into the desired shape. This will ensure that each piece fits perfectly together. Next, we will model the exterior parts of the car. Blender's Subdivision Surface Modifier will be used to create the chrome details. We will also create the spoked hubcaps and tire treads using the Array Modifier. The interior will be modelled using the Array Modifier. We will keep an eye on the reference images to ensure that the details are accurate.

After the modeling is done, we will use Blender's Node editor to create materials and textures for our car. Finally, we will lighten and render the scene with the Cycles render engine. We will also have fun animating the camera around our car and creating a short video with Blender's Video Sequence editor.

Blender tools and techniques are taught while creating this rare vintage car with "Blender 3.0 Vintage Auto Creation."
