Course Description

This course introduces you to Finite Element Analysis and various FEA tools within SOLIDWORKS. You will learn how to perform FEA simulations using both linear and nonlinear simulations, basic mesh types, 1D, 2D and 3D analysis. This course uses a hands on approach to show the various FEA tools within SOLIDWORKS. You will also be able to learn about the FEA simulation add ons that are built into SOLIDWORKS. This course is open to students who have completed at minimum three semesters of Mechanical, Aerospace or Automotive Engineering.
