COVID Vaccine Ambassador Training: How to Talk to Parents

To prevent serious illness or death due to COVID-19, vaccination is an important strategy. COVID-19 vaccines can be purchased for children aged 5 to 18, but parents often have questions regarding vaccinations. The course prepares school-age parents, teachers, school staff, and PTAs to become Vaccine Ambassadors. They will also help promote vaccination acceptance within their community. The course will prepare Vaccine Ambassadors to be able share information on COVID-19, the COVID-19 vaccination, have respectful conversations with community members about vaccine hesitancy, and point people to reliable sources of further information regarding COVID-19.
