This course will teach you how to create simple websites, and landing page using Canva 2.0. We will be working together on 2 projects:

1. A Landing Page is used to invite people to join a Facebook group.
2. A simple website to promote an event, with an e mail opt-in.

There are 50 reasons why you might need a landingpage: to promote an event, a new song, drive traffic to a social network account, sell a product, create a portfolio, etc.

It was difficult to create landing pages before, and it was often expensive (via softwares or membership platforms). This class will show you how to use Canva to create all of these landing pages.

Class Outline

1. Create simple websites... using Canva! Let me give you an overview of Canva 2.0's new feature, "Publish as a Website". I'll show you everything you can do with it.
   
   
2. Create a landing Page to Grow a Facebook Group
   This will be our first project together: we will create a landing site to invite people to join a Facebook group. All pages will be designed in Canva, and then published as a scroll-down website. This page can be used for many other social media accounts.
   
   
3. Create a website to promote an event
   I will then show how to create a mini website for promoting an event. We will also use Canva to design everything, then use third-party resources for icons, create an email opt in form, and publish it as a website. This will allow you to create similar pages for any other events that you wish to promote.
   
   
4. Insert multimedia content using Link Media
   This lesson will show you a new feature in Canva 2.0. It allows you to add video, GIFs, and music. Add media to your Canva websites and presentations. This will demonstrate how powerful these mini-websites are.
   
   
5. Tips to make better websites using Canva
   Next, I'll share 10 tips for creating better websites and landing pages using Canva. This will speed up your workflow and make it look more professional. This lesson will also share 15 landing page ideas with you so you don't run out of ideas!
   
   
6. Publishing different types of websites
   Let's talk about the four different styles of website Canva offers. This will help you choose the best website for your projects.
