Course Description

This series of Revit tutorials will teach you the fundamental concepts and tools that you can use in Revit to create a wood frame. To begin framing our project, we will need to set work and reference planes. We'll then label and make materials in accordance with our framing system requirements. After we have created the materials, we will begin framing the small building. We will start with the exterior walls. After the walls have been erected, we will frame the ceiling and door openings. Finally, you will learn how easy it is to frame a basic roof using the framing materials that we have customized. After the building is completed, we will introduce you to the lumber extension tool. This tool can help save time on any wood framing job. Understanding these framing concepts and how to use the lumber extension will help you tackle any framing job that comes your way. Revit 2014 is required.
