Course Description

This tutorial will show you how to draw a stair detail using AutoCAD. To begin, we will use Polylines to draw the basic shape of the treads. Once the treads are in place, we will draw the landing and stringers. The drawing will be completed by adding handrails, balusters, text, and dimensions. When we are working on our drawing, we will adhere to the International Building Code. This training will give you a solid understanding about how to draw a professional-looking and code-compliant stair detail for your permit drawings. AutoCAD is required.
