Course Description

This three-week innovative course by the University of Padova aims to show how electricity is made and exchanged.

First, you'll learn about electricity, how it is used in society, and how it has evolved over time.

Then you'll be able to assess the importance and how electricity is generated and traded among all the players in the electricity supply chain.

The 21st century's new challenges and perspectives in electricity will be explored. These include climate change. Increased temperatures are increasing our energy demands and changing our ability to generate electricity. Then, you will identify the need for a decarbonized economy and the possible ways to achieve this.

The course will teach you how to fully understand your electricity bill. This will allow you to make informed and cost-effective decisions when selecting an electricity supplier.

This course will be taught by an expert in environmental and energy economics from the University of Padova. He has also written the global reference book on the topic.

You can sign up at anytime. You can sign up at any time if you want to receive feedback from your mentors and educators.
