Enhancing Your Concepts with Textures in Photoshop

This training will begin with a sketch of the forest creature we want to create. We'll also be visualizing the environment in which our concept lives. We'll then spend several lessons learning how to block in textures and develop the appearance of our forest creature. We'll use grayscale to apply our textures so we can keep our values first. After our textures are blocked in, we will refine our concept and learn how color is applied. The final step in our concept is to find the right environment for our forest creature. You can add depth and personality to your concepts by using the techniques of applying textures. Photoshop CS6 is required.
