Course Description

Part 4 of the Exploring Beethoven's Piano Sonatas course is now available, taught by Jonathan Biss, a faculty member at Curtis. This new course introduces separate lectures and sonatas that have not been discussed before. The sonatas covered in Part 4 include Op. 2, No. 2, Op. 10, No. 3, Op. 28, and Op. 110. It is not necessary to have completed the previous parts of the course to join Part 4, but if you're ready to move on, you'll feel right at home. You can always go back to the previous parts whenever you want. There are various resources and learning opportunities available to assist you as you start Part 4, and it is recommended to complete Parts 1 and 2 if you haven't already.
