Course Description

This course is perfect for anyone who wants to travel to a French-speaking country, either for leisure or for study and exchange purposes.

You'll learn the French language through a communicative approach during your online classes.

Even for people with no previous experience, the course is suitable for anyone who wants to learn French.

We'll also be covering the basics to help you understand and have a conversation with native French speakers in a social setting.

Participate in interactive language activities, and take part in group work online according to a syllabus that is based on a systematic progression of grammatical words.

The course covers a variety of topics, including greetings, personal info, and basic interactions. By the end, you will be able read and understand simple texts written in French by the end.

Over 100 native speakers of the languages they teach are employed by The Modern Language Centre at King's College London.

They will guide you every step of your way.

These introductory weeks will give you a taster of the new microcredential coming to FutureLearn from King's College London in September 2021.
