Course Description

This Bootcamp teaches you how to use Python Flask and React full-stack web development. You will learn how to build real applications starting with the first lecture. The front-end and backend components of the application will be included. JavaScript React will be used to build the frontend. Python Flask will be used to build the backend API.

The following tasks will be performed during the creation of the frontend application:

  • Use create-react to initialize a React application
  • Create different React components
  • Use the useEffect hooks and the useState React hooks
  • Adjust favicon.ico on the frontend app
  • Insert an SVG logo.
  • Send an API request to Unsplash API
  • React props and state

You will need to perform the following tasks while creating an API app:

  • Pipenv can be used to create a Python virtual environment
  • Install and use Python packages like Flask, dotenv and requests
  • Create Flask routes
  • You can make external API calls using the Flask app
  • Accept client requests

You will also learn how you can use the following applications.

  • Visual Studio Code
  • Git and Git
  • Postman

This course will prepare you to become a full-stack web designer with practical knowledge of JavaScript React, Python Flask, and other topics.
