Disclaimer: This is not official Sitecore training. Are you an ASP.NET web designer who is just starting to get involved in Sitecore development. This course, Getting Started With Sitecore 9 & Helix, will teach you how Sitecore integrates content and presentation while you create a Sitecore 9 website. You will first learn how to set up a Sitecore 9 local development environment, including Solr and SQL Server, and then install Sitecore using one of two methods: Sitecore Installation Assistant (SIA), or Sitecore Installation Framework (SIF). Next, you'll set up Sitecore MVC Visual Studio projects using Helix architecture. Finally, you'll build a web page using Sitecore content using Layouts, Renderings and Data Templates. Learn how to add your Sitecore Helix Visual Studio solution. You will also learn about valuable resources that can help you continue your Sitecore studies. You will be able build a simple Sitecore 9 website with Helix architecture by the end of the course.
