How to Efficiently Build Wordpress Websites with Divi

Wordpress powers nearly a third the internet. Wordpress is a great tool to help you build content-based websites.

Over the years I have learned how to create Wordpress websites the right way. What I mean is how to efficiently build Wordpress sites that can be easily updated and maintained.

When I first built Wordpress, I made the decision to create my own theme. To learn the basics, I attended a seven-hour class and spent the next few week working full-time on my website to make it work.

It took me a while to build it. Every time I want to make changes to the website, even a simple text change, I have to go into the backend code and manually update it.

It's hard to believe, but it's not difficult at all.

I was curious to know how professional agencies and freelancers create Wordpress websites. They don't spend 40 hours per week building one site. What am I missing?

It wasn't until I spent many months and years working as a freelancer with Wordpress, talking to developers, and working for agencies, that I realized the best way to build Wordpress websites.

Now, don't get me wrong. You can create your own theme and sell it on Themeforest, or other marketplaces. But for creating Wordpress websites that are quick and easily customized for clients, you don't want to have reinvent the wheel every time you are asked to develop a new site.
