Modern applications are becoming more decentralized and using a variety of services, so we need a reliable and scalable authentication solution that seamlessly integrates with the cloud. This course, Implementing user access and authentication with Amazon Cognito, will teach you how to create authorization and authentication for your AWS services and your applications. You'll first learn how to create user groups to store our login information. Next, you will create and authenticate users to our web application. After you have learned how to get tokens from our user group, you will create a hosted user interface for your user pool. This allows Amazon Cognito to build the UI that you need for signing in, sign up, password resets and two-factor authentication. You'll then enable social logins to allow your users to log in using their preferred social platforms like Facebook, Amazon, Google, and other open ID providers. You'll also learn how Amazon Cognito Sync can be used to sync user data across different devices. You'll also learn how to use Amazon Cognito Federated Identities for users to gain access to AWS services via social logins or Amazon Cognito logins. This course will teach you how to create user access for your applications, allow users to access AWS services through external providers, and provide seamless user experiences by syncing data between multiple devices.
