If you have tried Blender or any other program before and found it difficult to use, you are in the right place.
This class will use shape keys to make our characters talk and animated. This class is similar to my previous class, where we made a character speak in just a few steps. This class is different because I will show you how to clearly pronounce words. This will allow you to get them to sing or rap. I will also show you how to add music and sync the audio with the words. I will even show you how to get your character to bob their head to the beat. Once it's over, your character can start singing along to the beat like a star.
I provide both the audio files as well as the starter Blender file. I want you to concentrate on the lip-syncing so I'll provide you with a blender file with the character already in it.
This class will show you how to make the teddy bear models we use. This class will show you how to make this model step-by-step. It also explains how shape keys were used to create different faces for our teddy bear. My other class will teach you the basics of animation and modeling.
You'll be able make your character speak whatever you like at the end of class.
This class assumes no prior knowledge. It is sufficient to have a reasonably current computer. It can be a Mac, PC, Linux, or both.
