Course Description

This Skillshare class will teach you how to design and animate your first professional-quality animation using Adobe After Effects.

This course was created to help you get started in After Effects in Motion Design.

Learn how to:

  • Navigate to the After Effects Interface
  • Design and animate with shape layers and keyframes
  • Enhance your animation using the graph editor!
  • You can work more efficiently using precomposing and null objects
  • Add style and polish to your compositing effects
  • To share your animation, export it

You will learn how to use THE GRAPH Editor to make your animation professional and not stiff and unprofessional. It's what I use to evaluate animation work by freelancers.

We're not talking about VFX. We aren’t creating crazy instagram videos. We are learning After Effects from scratch with the techniques and workflows that I use every day as a motion designer and animator.

It is not necessary to have any previous experience with After Effects. This class is for you if you want to learn how to animated in After Effects. It will teach you how to create a simple but professional animation.

Hope you enjoy!

Chris
