Course Description

Microsoft Office 2007 introduced a new file format called the Open XML File Formats, which make it easier to work with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents. The Open XML File Formats store these documents in an XML structured set of folders within a standard ZIP file. To help users manipulate XML content, Microsoft released the Open XML SDK. This course focuses on understanding and examining the Open XML File formats and provides examples of how to use the Open XML SDK with each type of supported document. By the end of the course, learners will be able to retrieve and modify data in Microsoft Office documents using the Open XML SDK. This course is designed to enhance Microsoft skills and provide an introduction to Microsoft Office for those who rely on automation.
