Course Description

The Prism library is a framework that makes use of design patterns that reflect important architectural design principles. It allows you to create composite XAML apps using loosely coupled components that are able to evolve independently. This course, Introduction to Prism For WPF, will teach you the fundamental knowledge necessary to create and build WPF desktop applications with Prism. You will first learn about regions, how they are defined, and what their role is in your Prism application. Next, you'll learn how to break down your monolithic application into modules which represent the functional responsibilities for your application. You will also learn how to add, delete, and navigate within the areas defined in the modules of your application. You will be able to create loosely coupled, testable and maintainable XAML applications in WPF after you have completed this course.
