Course Description

Chef is a popular configuration management tool that can be used to automate entire fleets of machines quickly. Chef allows you to create repeatable administration patterns in code that is tailored to your specific needs. Mischa Taylor, a Chef expert, demonstrates the many applications of Chef that can be used in place of a Chef Server.
You can immediately use Chef to automate your infrastructure. He will show you how to use Chef to automate the configuration and validation of a fleet Linux and/or macOS development computers. This course is for beginners with basic command line interface skills and are suitable for those who are ready to learn Chef Server.

He is the author of O'Reilly titles "Learning Chef" and "Infrastructure Automation Is on the Menu with Chef".
