LINQ Fundamentals

LINQ made major changes to C#'s language. This course, LINQ Foundations, will show you the features of C# that make LINQ possible. You'll also learn how to use LINQ efficiently using real examples. The course will begin with a demonstration of LINQ's power and then move on to the most important features of C# for LINQ. This includes how to use extension methods and lambda statements, as well as the creation and use of them. Next, we'll be focusing on the behavior and working with real data to understand how to order, filter, and project data. Finally, you will see demonstrations of LINQ to XML and how it works with remote datasources using the Entity Framework against Microsoft SQL Server. You will be able to query and process in-memory data as well as work with XML or a SQL Server database by the end of this course.
