Course Description

This course will teach you how accounting can be used to support and align employees, managers, owners and managers' decisions. Learn how accountants organize, interpret, communicate and communicate information to improve internal processes. This allows companies to identify and capitalize on opportunities to create value in the supply chain as well as with customers.

You will be able: * To understand the importance of managerial accounting in a successful business * To organize cost information according the organization's decision-making needs * Apply activity-based costsing (ABC) and recognize situations and decisions for which ABC systems may be relevant * To address common "what-if?" questions using cost volume-profit analysis and to apply CVP to a variety of situations.
