Course Description

These lessons will help you to understand how to create a digital matte painting from a plate. We will use photographs and 3D paint-overs to help us with composition and design. The final step in our matte painting will be to add atmospheric elements. This is done using a layer-based, organized workflow. This tutorial will show you how to create a sci-fi winterscape matt painting using a proven workflow. Software required: Photoshop CC 2014, Bridge CC 2014, Maya 2014, V-Ray 3.0.
