Course Description

UX is crucial in the digital world. It's hard to emphasize how important it is. Forrester (2015) has shown that UX investments have performed better in both bull markets and recessions. This is more true than ever now that the pandemic has increased the popularity of remote work and online entertainment.

The UX Lab's most prominent professors will teach you the basics of User Experience. This UX MicroMasters program will teach you how to satisfy users and meet organizational goals. You will also learn how to apply a user-centred process for the development of digital products and services that solve real-world industry problems.

Each phase of user-centred design (UX Research, Design, Prototyping, Evaluation) will provide you with the theoretical knowledge and practical best practices necessary to plan, execute, analyze, communicate and communicate valuable insights for the next development phase.

This MicroMasters program can help you design new solutions for pressing problems, including employee-oriented software and personal financial services.

Each course will have you facing a series of challenges over a week that are based on the latest research at HEC MontrA (c)als Tech3lab Laboratory. These challenges will help you to improve your knowledge of core concepts as well as your ability in the highly-sought-after field UX. This includes user interface, heuristic analysis, usability testing and user interaction.

This is 20% of the coursework for a Master's degree in UX in Business Context from HEC MontrA (c)al. The Tech3lab is an applied laboratory in management science that specializes in the analysis and interaction between technological interfaces within organizations and their employees, customers, or customers.
