Mobile Security: Reverse Engineer Android Apps From Scratch

This course is suitable for both newcomers to cyber security and professionals who are interested in mobile security.
Android has been a leader in the mobile OS market for many years. It is therefore a popular target for cyber-criminals.

This course will teach students how to create an analysis environment that allows them to analyze suspicious Android apps and determine if they are malicious. The syllabus assumes that students have little to no knowledge about Android security. This syllabus covers not only Android security but also Android applications in general.

This course will guide students through the process to create a basic Android app. It will also provide insight into the inner workings and functions of an Android APK. Students will be able to create their own analysis environment and learn how to analyze suspicious APKs after the course is over.
