Learn the various model selection criteria and how to identify multimodal transportation key to help you understand the options available to you in your logistics business.

The process behind procurement logistics will be explained, as well as practical methods for sourcing and handling materials efficiently using the Kraljic matrix.

We'll begin by looking at container shipping and its components so you can use them in international logistics.

This standardised shipping method, also known by ISO containers, will be used to look at procurement and sourcing.

You'll be accompanied by experts from Coventry to identify the stages in the order cycle, and how efficient tools can help manage your orders.

We'll discuss the benefits of ICT applications for procurement and order management, and analyze the drawbacks to see if these tools are right for you.

This course will help you understand intermodal operations, their characteristics, and important legal information like the Bill of Lading and incoterms.
