Course Description

This course is two weeks long and will equip you as a fitness professional with the necessary knowledge to prepare clients for a training program. This course will help you understand the requirements for orientation and prescreening, as well as how to use that knowledge to create an efficient and comprehensive onboarding process. It will also be discussed how to use fitness testing to gain a better understanding of your client's baseline to create a customized fitness program. To gain a better understanding of the industry, you will examine your legal responsibilities as a fitness and health professional and what is expected.

After having analysed a variety of fitness testing methods, it's time to reflect on the Adult Pre-Exercise Screening System and how these methods can be applied to different fitness levels and program requirements within your client base. This knowledge will allow you to accurately assess the progress of your clients and help them achieve their fitness goals. CQUniversity is Australia's top regional university. You will be able to participate in project-based learning and practical learning experiences. This course will give you real-world skills and knowledge that you can use in your fitness and health workplace. Fitness Australia, a leader in best practices for fitness professionals around the world, has accredited this course.
