Course Description

Your clients might expect nutrition guidance from you as a fitness professional. However, it is difficult to give nutritional advice. This two-week course will teach you the skills and knowledge necessary to help your clients make healthy decisions. You'll also learn how to recognize when your role as a personal coach is oversimplified. Learn how to recognize the dangers in giving food advice in a gym setting and how to help your clients get the assistance they need.

This course will teach you how to recognize reliable information sources so that your clients receive trustworthy nutrition guidance. You will also be able identify when giving nutritional advice is unethical or outside your capabilities, and what steps you can take in order to refer your client to an accredit professional. You will feel confident when you are able to give nutritional advice to clients after the course.
