Course Description

This course will teach you how to create document libraries and lists using Visual Studio 2012. The course will also cover the different events that SharePoint 2013 offers, including the remote event receiver. This course covers all aspects of building solutions on the server and using the SharePoint Server-SideAPI. Learn how to set up LINQ for SharePoint, query lists and the traditional ways of working with SharePoint data via SPQuery, SPQuery and SPSiteDataQuery. Students will learn how to use each of the three client objects models (CSOMs) in SharePoint projects. Students will also learn how to access SharePoint data off-the-server using the WCF Data Services (OData/REST), and Web Services. This course will also cover client-side topics like working with notifications, status messages and dialogs.
