SkillUP 101 - Accounting

In this course, students will be taught the basics of analysis of financial statements. The course starts by providing an overview of the topic and provides a brief overview of subjects to be taught. The students will then explore the function of financial statements and discover how they can be used to evaluate the financial health of a company. The course also teaches the idea of the business cycle and how it impacts financial statements. Students will be taught about the accounting of income statements, knowing the meaning behind the data provided. The course will then dive into the accounting of balance sheets and covers various aspects in three sections. The course then focuses on the accounting of cash flows and provides insight into the financial movements within a company. In this course, students will acquire a solid understanding in the analysis of financial statements and will be equipped with the required skills to evaluate how financial results are performed by companies.
