Course Description

This advanced course builds upon the concepts learned in Linear Static Analysis. This course, SOLIDWORKS Simulation - Dynamics, will teach you how to create and run both a linear and non-linear dynamic analysis. You'll first learn how the solver works behind-the scenes. You'll then explore other concepts such as damping, time steps and new post-processing options. The final part of the course will be about non-linear dynamics analysis. Key differences between linear and non-linear dynamics are discussed and an example problem is presented. This course will teach you how to set up and run both a linear and non-linear dynamic analysis. SOLIDWORKS is required.
