Course Description

This tutorial will show you how to create a material expense estimation report using Revit 2014. Let's start by looking at how to create a Cost Schedule for the steel we have in our design. We will learn how to create custom formulas to allow Revit generate a material cost using units and calculations that may be specific for the material's properties. This will allow us to calculate the cost of concrete, windows, doors, and windows. Finally, once we have generated our totals you'll be able to customize the appearance and format of your Schedules. After you have become familiar with the concepts, you will be able to generate cost schedules on your own within minutes. Software needed: Revit 2014.
