Course Description

Vehicle dynamics refers to the mathematical modeling of suspensions, tires, ride, and handling. Many parameters affect the overall performance of a vehicle, including steering geometries and swing arm geometries as well as steering kinematics, ride frequency (anti characteristics), ride handling, and dynamics. To design a high-performing vehicle, it is important to optimize and calculate these parameters. This course will help you to understand the theories and concepts involved in vehicle dynamics. The industry's initial design phase will be covered.
This course is for those who are interested in automotive engineering or motorsport engineering. It also offers the opportunity to study the fields of suspension design, tyre modelling, and ride dynamics.

This course is also available to FSAE and BAJA racers.

As an entry-level suspension engineer, or tyre modeling engineer in automotive OEMs, you can apply. This course will be helpful in starting a career in the field of vehicle dynamics and will also help you in pursuing a Master's degree in the field of automotive/motorsport engineering.
