Windows Forms Best Practices

This course will demonstrate best practices in Windows Forms development. We'll be using a demo app to show you how to improve its user experience and code quality. You'll learn how to improve the layout and resizing your application and how you can make it easier to use and more navigable via the keyboard. We will discuss how to approach threading, exception handling, localization, and threading. You'll also learn about patterns that can help you write maintainable, testable code. We'll also provide guidance on how to create your own custom controls and show you how to interoperate with other technologies like hosting web content and WPF content within Windows Forms applications.
