Course Description

A wiring harness is a set of wires, connectors, terminals and connectors that runs through the vehicle. They relay information and power and play a crucial role in connecting various components. It will take a lot of time to lay the wiring harness in the vehicle without knowing the exact positions of each component. Wiring boards are used to visualize the locations of each component. This allows us to finalize the design for the wiring harness, making it more efficient and economically viable in the automotive industry.

In the CATIA software, you will learn how to wire harnesses.

This course will teach you the CATIA electrical wiring discipline. You will also be able to understand the electrical distribution system, the various electrical components, and the standards that are used in an automotive wiring harness.
