Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam was established under the parent society ‘Gayatri Vidya Parishad (GVP) in the year 1996. It is also known as GVPCE Visakhapatnam. GVPCE Visakhapatnam is a self-financing college and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada. In the year 2009, the institute was granted autonomous status by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada and earlier by UGC in the year 2008. GVPCE Visakhapatnam is spread over 20.02 acres of land. Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam offers 7 undergraduate courses and 13 postgraduate courses to the students. In the engineering category colleges, the varsity has been ranked 188 by the NIRF in the year 2020.
