Mangalore University is a public state university established in the year 1980. National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited it with an ‘A’ grade. The university is approved by the University Grants Commission. With a campus spreading over an area of 353 acres, the varsity has 26 postgraduate departments. Presently, 204 colleges are affiliated with Mangalore University.
