Internal auditors are a specialist in maintaining and ensuring the correctness of organizations and businesses' accounting throughout the year. They also have the responsibility of making sure that accounts are up-to-date and accurate, and also that accounting teams follow to the established processes.
An Internal Auditor's roles are as follows:
- The Operational Auditor perform an independent audit of systems, processes, and operational procedures to determine whether internal controls are effective in reducing risks and ensure that the organization's targets and goals are met.
- The Construction Auditor will ensure the owner of a construction project that the general contractor or construction manager adhered to the specific requirements of the contract for construction projects.
