Copy editors are accountable to review content for the publications of their company that could include magazines, newspapers newsletters, websites, newsletters mass emails, and other written material. They must make sure that the content is correct and free of grammatical and spelling mistakes. They may collaborate with writers and other employees within the organization to correct mistakes and ensure that they are prepared to be published. Copy editors must also ensure that the content is in with the style, tone and overall perspective that they have chosen for their publication(s). In addition, they can work with photographers, designers web editors, and other experts to ensure that the content is a part of a seamless package, and to resolve all issues during edits.
