Computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) operators utilize computers to design plans for projects, and then create drafts that satisfy the requirements of the project and those of the client. They also have the responsibility of altering existing designs and making modifications as required. CADD designers must also be capable of communicating technical concepts to non-technical personnel and design and create plans using computers-aided design (CAD) programs.
