Description

The primary responsibilities of a principal structural engineer include designing new telecommunication sites, designing new equipment load frames and antenna support structures, and determining the nature and scope of projects. They are also in charge of evaluating existing structures and certifying their integrity, as well as preparing structural plans, calculations and specifications. Additionally, principal structural engineers must communicate with customers, clients, and product suppliers, as well as oversee and manage projects and project staff.
