Description

We're looking for an experienced event manager for the team of our IT department. In this position you'll be responsible of directing an incident-management process from initial resolution and returning the IT services provided by our company quickly. You'll also record and categorize incidents that are recurring to enhance the incident management procedures. In order to be an effective incident manager you must be able to pick new procedures and technologies. In the end, a great incident manager must be adept in multitasking and be able to remain calm in large incidents.

  • The Incident Management Analyst monitors and analyzes incidents to ensure timely response and resolution.
  • They identify trends and patterns to anticipate incidents and minimize their negative impact on the organization.
  • They coordinate with stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, and external vendors, to ensure effective incident management.
  • The Incident Management Analyst maintains documentation of incidents, resolutions, and post-incident reviews to facilitate continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications & Work Experience

Major educational qualifications required for Incident Management Analyst are:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology or any related area.
  • Experience within IT service management, or in a similar position.
  • A solid understanding of IT services management tools, including ITIL as well COBIT.
  • Experiential working on IT-related systems as well as programs like SolarWinds, Zabbix, and Nagios XI.
  • A solid understanding of programming languages like SQL, Java, C++, and Scala.
  • Superior managerial skills and ability to work on team projects.
  • Ability to analyze a large quantity of technical information and work in a high-speed work environment.
