An analyst in the junior level is accountable to attend client conferences, capturing crucial details, capturing the relevant information about clients and completing reports required for tracking databases. They should be able of managing their own workload and completing assignments within the deadlines and also preparing regular reports that are utilized for investor relations. Junior business analysts usually collaborate with quality assurance, marketing, and development personnel, and the executive team. They conduct and manage studies on vendors and clients. Business analysts in junior positions typically work during normal office hours and are accountable to the business analyst who is senior.
An undergraduate degree from a a business or related field is usually mandatory, along with at least one year of experience in a related area. Excellent communication abilities both oral and written essential, since they need to be able to share information with different groups with different goals. A basic understanding of Windows-based computer systems is required; Microsoft Access and SQL knowledge is an advantage. They should have strong organization skills as well as a thorough understanding of writing for business.
