The business analyst in charge of the lead prepares an outline of the issue and provides evidence to the relevant managers and staff. They use the data they have collected and the experience of their team to suggest a solution or solutions to solve the issue. If the decision-makers accept the recommendation(s) the head business analyst will supervise how the proposed solution is implemented. In addition, they can determine metrics to assess the effectiveness of the solution and monitor the progress over time.
The educational requirements for this job generally include a minimum bachelor's degree in a related area. Experience as a business analyst could be necessary in addition to prior experience in a managerial position.
