They create and execute marketing plans to increase sales. They coordinate with other departments in their organization to create an effective message, help craft communication statements for customers, create marketing calendars, and develop effective schedules. They attend department meetings and training sessions. They must understand viral marketing campaigns and work with other industry partners to create product visibility. They approve marketing campaigns and supervise their results, as well as facilitate communication among marketing, design, and management executives. They manage other marketing professionals, and supervise their performance.
