Description

Program planners are responsible for making plans, making changes and production requirements as well as evaluating and coordinate requirements of the program to ensure that the materials and services are able to meet customer requirements. They can also be involved in supply chain, manufacturing engineering, program management. They also communicate the status of work in progress as well as material availability and production issues to other employees. They also create order forms and buy orders for components or components in accordance with the inventory requirements.

A minimum of four years' experience in manufacturing or production control which includes the creation and execution of purchasing plans to meet contractual demands as well as schedules are typically required for this job. candidates should also be familiar working with MRP, SAP, and cost-versus-risk analyses of different manufacturing techniques. They should be able to create solutions to a range of difficult problems. Additionally, familiarity with Microsoft Office programs is also advantageous.
