A purchasing supervisor looks over orders that are received by the company's computer system before they start the process of purchasing. After reviewing the order to determine which items need to be shipped out of their warehouse The purchasing supervisor then contacts the vendor of the company to purchase the required materials to fulfill those orders. They are responsible of maintaining the facility to ensure that health and safety regulations are adhered to. They also conduct stock inventories and updates to the inventory system of the company as required.
